I Want To Go To Italy!

Hello you beautiful people!

As you may have read from my last blog, I am hopefully going to university this September to do a full-time course which will require having to live on campus. This obviously means I won't get to see my family, friends or boyfriend as often as I would like *sad face*.

So I have been constantly searching for somewhere to go on holiday with my boyfriend to spend some 'alone time' before departing for uni! Isn't Italy like the perfect place?! It's so quaint and pretty, and such a romantic city. Here are a few pictures (that are not  mine, I found them on google) that I caught my eye when searching images of Rome/Italy.

It is ridiculously amazing and I would LOVE to go, hopefully I will be able to save enough so we can both go and spend some quality time together :) we have both already decided that we want to go on an exploration holiday rather than spending 1-2 weeks by the pool, and with the number of places to go and things to do in Italy it was instantly the place we both want to go!

this is it from me for now, I'll speak to you again soon!

Kitty Kisses!

Hello, you beautiful people!

I haven't blogged in a while for the reason that I have been VERY busy with both sixth form and work, I am sorry :( any way I was at my mum's house the other day helping her with her decorating and got very distracted with my cat - Ginge! So I thought I'd snap a few pictures and share them with you!

I know it may seem quite 'sad' and slightly weird blogging about my cat but I honestly cannot get over how loving and cute he is! *laughs* He's will be three in April this year so technically he is still a kitten (I almost typed puppy haha) and not only is he incredibly dopey, for example; running into door frames and trying to jump on to the window ledge but bumping his head on the bit protruding from the wall.. He is also such an adorable cat and always wants some kind of human attention! Whether it be a stroke of the tail or kisses like those above, he's so cute and had to be shared.

This is it from me for now, I'll speak to you again soon!
Lots of love,

An Amazing Surprise!

Hello you beautiful people!

So I'm not normally one for surprises, especially when people begin to try and wind you up about what is going to happen but not actually telling you the 'thing' that is happening.. Do you understand what I mean? It is so hard to explain! Like they would say "I know something you don't know" or similar which quite frankly, gets irritating!

Anyway, since my dad lives over 300 miles away from where I live, I unfortunately very rarely see him around the holidays and with the postal prices nowadays he usually ends up transferring money into my bank account so I can buy myself something instead of buying me any presents and having to send them to me. HOWEVER! The christmas just gone I still hadn't received anything in my account after a few days, which seeing as I knew my dad was out of the country for christmas and new year, I automatically assumed he was waiting until he returned to the UK before transferring anything over. So obviously I just left it and thought nothing of it until one morning a few days into January, I recived a package..

AND THIS CAME!!

As I was opening the mysterious brown box it came in all I saw was the words MacBook Air and I started crying with happiness (I know I am pathetic!) I was actually shaking and crying!! I have wanted a MacBook of some kind for years now and over the past few months I have without a doubt been on the Apple Store reading reviews and the different things they can do every week. How my dad knew I have wanted one for so long I don't know!

I seriously love it, if you could be in love with a Mac, this would be living proof right here! The day I got it I just sat for hours doing nothing with it open, doing nothing.. All I wanted to do was be on it but I hadn't a clue how to use/work it!! *laughs*

I am so very grateful and thankful to my dad for giving me one of the best surprises I have ever had! Even from miles away! This is something I will never forget and wanted to share with you guys..

This is it from me for now, I'll speak to you again soon!

Lots of love,

Get Up!

Hello you beautiful people!

I was scrolling through twitter this morning and my eye caught this picture

'Sometimes we can't stop ourselves from falling, but we can push ourselves to get up and try again.' I felt these few words speak a thousand more.. Different things happens each day that can both make and break us, wether it be something little or something big. You don't always have the power of preventing things from happening, however you do have the power of deciding how you're going to deal with it, and that is what really matters. Remain positive no matter how hard it may be at the time, in the future you'll look back and be proud of yourself along with being happier.

This is it from me for now, I'll speak to you again soon!

Monday Blues!

Hello, you beautiful people!

I am definitely feeling the Monday blues *sad face* today is the day most people go back to work or school and begin the 'norm' after having the last two weeks off to relax and celebrate Christmas and the new year. Of which I must admit I did what I planned.. NOTHING. I seriously needed these past two weeks to be nothing but laid back and relaxed, I felt so ridiculously stressed since giving back to sixth form in September and I am so not ready to get back into my routine.

Luckily I have had to Monday off due to it being a training day for staff at my school/sixth form but all day I have felt so miserable over the thought of getting up early every day and having to sit through tiresome lessons for another term.. I'm too lazy for this stuff! Haha. (Plus this Monday off allows me to catch up on the homework I should have done two weeks ago.. Whoops..)

Anyway, I hope you guys are feeling better than I am about getting back to normal and are much more optimistic than myself. I have set myself the aim of uploading a blog a few times a month, even if they are short and sweet like today's, it makes me feel better *smiles*

This is it from me for now, I'll speak to you again soon!

Happy New Year

Hello, you beautiful people!

I have always felt the new year to be an exciting time for the reason that it is the beginning of something new, a fresh leaf, a blank page. It is a time of reflections and plans of developments not only to the life you live but also to yourself.

Each year I set myself goals, goals that do not necessarily have to last the entire year but for myself to at least give my all in hope of completing for the time period set. Although the new year is an excellent time to set yourself resolutions, I believe that if you really want to do something then you will do it in the moment, don't sit around waiting for the right time just do it now.

My main resolution of 2015 is to maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle, to not essentially eat less but to really just move more! Exercise gives of happy endorphins that can instantly make you feel better about yourself, and that is the only thing that really matters. I also have a couple of smaller resolutions which are the typical 'no more fizzy' and 'be a better person' that I am sure I will be able to pursue.

I'd love to know what resolutions you guys have, let me know!

This is it from me for now, I'll speak to you again soon!

Lots of love,

TAG

Hello, you beautiful people!

Today I thought I would do something a little different seeing as this is the start of a new blog, so wouldn't it be nice to know just a little bit more about me? Maybe! Maybe not! *laughs to myself* Anyway this are a few questions I found on Zoella's blog that she answered as a TAG.

What is your current fashion obsession? Chelsea boots - they're so comfortable and look great so win-win

What is your current make up obsession? I've recently discovered the art of highlighting my cheekbones and under the eyebrow bone, so I'm definitely obsessed with that

What are you wearing today? A spotted white and black shirt, leggings and frilly socks!

What is your hair like today? I've not long had it cut actually so to me it feels VERY short, but other than that it's just straight, nothing special

Do you nap a lot? Yes - one minute I'll be watching something on the tele and the next, I'll wake up a few hours later having missed what I was watching

Why is today special? It's Saturday which means it's the WEEKEND!

What would you like to learn to do? I've always wanted to learn sign language

What's for dinner today? Take away.. Naughty..

What are you listening to right now? The boy's screamo music

What is your favourite weather? When I'm out I like it to be hot and sunny but when I'm inside I like it to be cold, maybe even raining/snowing because I love being all snuggled up with a hot chocolate

What's the last thing you bought? Does lunch at sixth form count?

What are your essentials when travelling? Music 100%

What's your style? I have no style, it's literally whatever I throw on in the morning

What is your most challenging goal right now? Finishing my University application and actually getting into Universty

If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you like it to be? Probably Australia if the house came with an anti-spider guarantee

Favourite vacation/holiday spot? Egypt was by far my favourite holiday

Name the things you cannot live without? My family, cheese strings and my phone

How was your childhood? Eventful to say the least

What would you like to have in your hands right now? An unlimited credit card that I wouldn't have to ever pay back

What would you like to get rid of? Spiders

What are you most excited for? My dinner tonight

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go? Probably the Maldives, I've always wanted to go there. It looks so pretty!

Which countries have you visited? America - Florida, Spain a few times, France a few times, Egypt and Ethiopia

As said, this is a little different but I hope you guys like it and feel like you know me slightly more than you did before, I enjoy doing things like these.

This is it from me for now, I'll speak to you again soon!

Lots of love,

Scary Times!

Hello, you beautiful people!

I am currently at the point in my life where I am having to start applying to Universities which in tern means I need to begin writing my personal statement and decide what pathway I would like to journey down to create the building blocks for the rest of my life - SCARY!

I'm not sure how I feel about Uni, sure I have always wanted to go because I have always known what I want to do career wise, however it is not that simple. All of my life I have dreamt of one job and one job only until just recently when I started questioning myself because honestly, this world is humongous! - and the job opportunities are endless! So deciding on one seems like the hardest decision ever..

In a number of ways I feel ready, ready to take the next step into my future but sometimes I feel like I am not at all ready, and honestly - this scares me. I don't want to grow up, I don't want to live in the 9-5 repetitive world. I want excitement and adventures! I sometimes want to spend my life travelling the world meeting incredible people, making crazy memories and just living, but then I also want that quaint little bubble life where it's just me, my partner and my kids (hopefully). Choosing ONE thing to do with your life seemed like such an easy decision growing up until I actually have to do it. Obviously I wont be travelling the world for the rest of my life (imagine me, or even yourself at 80 odd on a road trip across America - very unlikely ha!) as much fun as that would be, I need to focus and actually think for once.

So yes, I have almost finished my personal statement (it's currently a few hundred words too long.. whoops..) which has been a nightmare to write. I mean, having to sell yourself to a Uni and make yourself sound like the most interesting person in the world without fibbing is insanely difficult! Although I have just about managed to do it. Just.

Also, I have no expectations of Uni whatsoever. I enjoy sixth form and I enjoy learning but I know for sure that going to Uni is a complete different ball game, it's not as laid back as what most sixth forms and colleges are when it comes to doing the work to an extremely high standard as well as handing it in on specific deadlines. Which if I am completely honest with you guys, I am TERRIBLE when it comes to being on time with anything! Literally, if you want me to be somewhere by a certain time, I would encourage you to tell me an earlier time as I am more than likely going to be late!

I guess this all has to change though, like I said, it's scary and I need to get my butt into gear and hopefully find some positivity before the time comes otherwise I'm sure I would regret not making the most of my higher education times - as well as making new friends which is a complete other story that I will enlighten you all on sometime in the future. Anyway, I think it is time for me to complete my application and see what the future brings..

This is it from me for now, I'll speak to you again soon!

Lots of love,

P.S. We fly balloons on this fuel called love <3

Finally...

Hello, you beautiful people!

For many many months, if not years I have pretty much dreamt of beginning a blog/vlog channel online after much inspiration from current bloggers and YouTubers such as Zoella, inthefrow, SprinkleOfGlitter, Tanya Burr, Niomi Smart and many more. So after creating my SECOND blog page, I have plucked up the courage to actually write a post, because it may seem like no big deal but to me, this is actually quite scary!

There is something about blogging and vlogging that I have enjoyed for such a long time now, so much so that I have wanted to try it myself. For a while I tried to come up with a 'theme' for my blog but after a lot of brain boggling I came to the conclusion of just going with the flow. I would much rather have a blog page full of my random rants, raves, loathes and loves with a range of subjects/categories compared to having to stick to a selected theme of beauty for example. (Not that I would be much help to the beauty lovers out there, that is for sure!)

Anyway. I honestly haven't even thought this first blog post out, I just decided that today is the day! I have just began typing and this is what has happened (not much). In actual fact, I did get my laptop out to do some revision for my A-Levels but procrastination has lead me here! I am hoping to do at least one or two blog posts a week depending on how motivated I am seeing as I am probably one of the most lazy people you will come across - as you will soon come to learn. Hence the reason it has taken me SO long to begin blogging. As I already said I haven't got a theme, so some posts may be right up your alley and you'll hopefully (fingers crossed) love, and others you may think a few naughty words because that is more than okay.

This is it from me for now, I'll speak to you again soon!

Lots of love,
