First Impressions: Bourjois Paris

Hello you beautiful people!

I thought I would share three of the products I bought from the drugstore Boots today, I was in need of a highlighter, a blusher and a bronzer that isn't matte nor too shimmery. Below are the three products I chose.

The bronzing power is in shade 52 - £7.99
The blusher is in shade 33 - £7.99
The highlighter is (actually a white eyeshadow) - £6.99

 Delice de Poudre shade 52

I have seen this product on many bloggers' and vloggers' pages online along with having heard many great reviews over this chocolate look-a-like bronzer. This is something I have wanted for a while but seeing as I have a low, student budget and already own two bronzers (one being from Mac) I felt in some ways it was unnecessary to buy, however today I felt like 'why not?!'.

At first swatch it is not actually that pigmented and is quite orange in tones so now I'm even more sceptical about trying it but when I have I will let you know.

Eyeshadow (highlighter)

This product is actually an eyeshadow - something that I NEVER wear but recently I have started to use small amount to highlight my cheek bones and beneath my eyebrow bone again to highlight for the reason that I am rather pale and most highlighters I have found aren't quite light enough!

The swatch came out very pigmented so when it comes to testing this out I'll be sure to use it sparingly! I am hopeful for this product, but either way I will let you guys know.. :)

Blush shade 33

Now, this is by far my favourite of the three products! I have never been one to wear blush seeing as I'm more for the bronzed and contoured look, although for a long time I have wanted to do something different with my every day makeup and adding a bit of blusher seemed like the most obvious thing to do.

I chose a shade that was in the middle of the range and one that I felt goes with this cold, wintery weather because the cold gives most people a natural red/pink flush of the cheeks. Again this product came out extremely pigmented so I am nervous about the application seeing as I have never actually done it! But yes after a few wears I will fill you all in as to how everything went.

Above are swatches of the three products:
Top - blush
Middle - eyeshadow/highlighter
Bottom - bronzer

As I have said many times, once I have given each product a few wears as well as learning how to apply blusher, I will update you all on how I got on with them. But this is it from me for now, I'll speak to you again soon!

Lots of love,

Kitty Kisses!

Hello, you beautiful people!

I haven't blogged in a while for the reason that I have been VERY busy with both sixth form and work, I am sorry :( any way I was at my mum's house the other day helping her with her decorating and got very distracted with my cat - Ginge! So I thought I'd snap a few pictures and share them with you!

I know it may seem quite 'sad' and slightly weird blogging about my cat but I honestly cannot get over how loving and cute he is! *laughs* He's will be three in April this year so technically he is still a kitten (I almost typed puppy haha) and not only is he incredibly dopey, for example; running into door frames and trying to jump on to the window ledge but bumping his head on the bit protruding from the wall.. He is also such an adorable cat and always wants some kind of human attention! Whether it be a stroke of the tail or kisses like those above, he's so cute and had to be shared.

This is it from me for now, I'll speak to you again soon!
Lots of love,
