An Amazing Surprise!

Hello you beautiful people!

So I'm not normally one for surprises, especially when people begin to try and wind you up about what is going to happen but not actually telling you the 'thing' that is happening.. Do you understand what I mean? It is so hard to explain! Like they would say "I know something you don't know" or similar which quite frankly, gets irritating!

Anyway, since my dad lives over 300 miles away from where I live, I unfortunately very rarely see him around the holidays and with the postal prices nowadays he usually ends up transferring money into my bank account so I can buy myself something instead of buying me any presents and having to send them to me. HOWEVER! The christmas just gone I still hadn't received anything in my account after a few days, which seeing as I knew my dad was out of the country for christmas and new year, I automatically assumed he was waiting until he returned to the UK before transferring anything over. So obviously I just left it and thought nothing of it until one morning a few days into January, I recived a package..

AND THIS CAME!!

As I was opening the mysterious brown box it came in all I saw was the words MacBook Air and I started crying with happiness (I know I am pathetic!) I was actually shaking and crying!! I have wanted a MacBook of some kind for years now and over the past few months I have without a doubt been on the Apple Store reading reviews and the different things they can do every week. How my dad knew I have wanted one for so long I don't know!

I seriously love it, if you could be in love with a Mac, this would be living proof right here! The day I got it I just sat for hours doing nothing with it open, doing nothing.. All I wanted to do was be on it but I hadn't a clue how to use/work it!! *laughs*

I am so very grateful and thankful to my dad for giving me one of the best surprises I have ever had! Even from miles away! This is something I will never forget and wanted to share with you guys..

This is it from me for now, I'll speak to you again soon!

Lots of love,

Get Up!

Hello you beautiful people!

I was scrolling through twitter this morning and my eye caught this picture

'Sometimes we can't stop ourselves from falling, but we can push ourselves to get up and try again.' I felt these few words speak a thousand more.. Different things happens each day that can both make and break us, wether it be something little or something big. You don't always have the power of preventing things from happening, however you do have the power of deciding how you're going to deal with it, and that is what really matters. Remain positive no matter how hard it may be at the time, in the future you'll look back and be proud of yourself along with being happier.

This is it from me for now, I'll speak to you again soon!

Monday Blues!

Hello, you beautiful people!

I am definitely feeling the Monday blues *sad face* today is the day most people go back to work or school and begin the 'norm' after having the last two weeks off to relax and celebrate Christmas and the new year. Of which I must admit I did what I planned.. NOTHING. I seriously needed these past two weeks to be nothing but laid back and relaxed, I felt so ridiculously stressed since giving back to sixth form in September and I am so not ready to get back into my routine.

Luckily I have had to Monday off due to it being a training day for staff at my school/sixth form but all day I have felt so miserable over the thought of getting up early every day and having to sit through tiresome lessons for another term.. I'm too lazy for this stuff! Haha. (Plus this Monday off allows me to catch up on the homework I should have done two weeks ago.. Whoops..)

Anyway, I hope you guys are feeling better than I am about getting back to normal and are much more optimistic than myself. I have set myself the aim of uploading a blog a few times a month, even if they are short and sweet like today's, it makes me feel better *smiles*

This is it from me for now, I'll speak to you again soon!

Lots of love,

Happy New Year

Hello, you beautiful people!

I have always felt the new year to be an exciting time for the reason that it is the beginning of something new, a fresh leaf, a blank page. It is a time of reflections and plans of developments not only to the life you live but also to yourself.

Each year I set myself goals, goals that do not necessarily have to last the entire year but for myself to at least give my all in hope of completing for the time period set. Although the new year is an excellent time to set yourself resolutions, I believe that if you really want to do something then you will do it in the moment, don't sit around waiting for the right time just do it now.

My main resolution of 2015 is to maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle, to not essentially eat less but to really just move more! Exercise gives of happy endorphins that can instantly make you feel better about yourself, and that is the only thing that really matters. I also have a couple of smaller resolutions which are the typical 'no more fizzy' and 'be a better person' that I am sure I will be able to pursue.

I'd love to know what resolutions you guys have, let me know!

This is it from me for now, I'll speak to you again soon!

Lots of love,

The Café

Hello, you beautiful people!

Today my boyfriend and a few of his family members took a trip to Morrisons, which may not seem like the most exciting thing to blog about but seriously, it was the cutest thing ever. Well the cafe was anyway!

We decided seeing as it was lunchtime, we would grab something to eat in this little quaint cafe inside Morrisons. Honestly I didn't expect it too be the best thing ever because if previous experiences with supermarket cafĂ©s, they are not great. But this one was so cute! Just look at the decor..

The vintage look with the wood and multicoloured chairs are so sweet. I mean, look at those teapots! Even the table signs/numbers are adorable - how could I not share that with you?

Anyhow, of course I ordered a big breakfast! Although I (for some weird reason) didn't feel like eating meat so I only asked for one sausage. It wasn't that pricey either meaning it was definitely worth the money. The boys got burgers that came on rectangular plates and looked pretty gourmet but by the time I asked to get a picture they had been eaten! If we go again I'll try to get a picture - they were definitely instagram'able.

Doesn't it look delicious!?

Not the longest blog to be honest, something short but definitely sweet! The food was so tasty and the service was brilliant. Something I'm sure not many people would go out of their way to go to but I definitely reccomend it! Let me know if you have ever been, I'd love to here your opinions.

This is it from me for now, I'll speak to you again soon!
Lots of love,

Feeling Autumnal

Hello, you beautiful people!

Do you not just LOVE this time of year? It's becoming darker in the evenings, as well as chillier and the leaves have fallen and look so so pretty on the ground! Literally autumn is my favourite time of the year. Where slouching around all day on a Sunday in the clothes you woke up in, with a hot chocolate or home made latte in your hands and being snuggled in a big blanket or duvet is totally acceptable! (Even though I do this all year round)

I'm a sucker for a raindrop macro image, ,especially when there is crisp green leaves in the background. Don't you think they look super cool? I sure do. I also love the rain - driving in the rain also makes me feel very autumnal, not that I drive but being in the car with pouring rain is something I enjoy for some reason. But nothing beats a classic movie on the sofa feeling all toasty and warm with the rain hitting against the windows. Love it.

Another thing I adore about autumn is the gorgeous, natural colours. The mixtures of mustard yellows, dark greens, various shades of browns and my most favourite of all.. BURGUNDY! I literally lived in burgundy coloured clothes last autumn, from jeans to t-shirts, jumpers, scarves - the lot! I think it is such a warm colour and when you're out in the chilly weather with flushed cheeks, the burgundy brings out the natural colours of your skin. Even all year round I think it's just a beautiful colour!

Plus, the use of cute lanterns like these are adorable. I actually snapped this picture a a wedding I recently went to, and I have never actually been to an autumn wedding before but I can tell you now it is the prettiest thing ever. All of my favourite things mixed into one beautiful day (although lucky for the bride and groom, it didn't rain). I know lanterns and bits like these can be used all year round, for some odd reason I feel like they are extra cute and vintage looking in this somewhat groggy weather.

One last thing I love about this time of year is Guy Fawkes Night/firework night. I know many people who do not live in the UK probably won't know what it is but basically some guy tried blowing up the Tower of London many years ago but since his plan did not go to plan, we celebrate it by lighting fireworks and SPARKLERS!

I feel that Guy Fawkes Night makes autumn official - wrapping up warm at night in your big coats with hats, gloves, scarves and the warmest boots really makes autumn feel real and I love it. Plus the fact that it is my youngest brother's birthday makes it all the more special. The forthcoming few months are the best, especially Christmas which is my number one favourite holiday (I'm sure to do a Christmassy blog post soon) with all of your close family and friends. It's just all too exciting! I cannot wait.

This is it from me for now, I'll speak to you again soon!

TAG

Hello, you beautiful people!

Today I thought I would do something a little different seeing as this is the start of a new blog, so wouldn't it be nice to know just a little bit more about me? Maybe! Maybe not! *laughs to myself* Anyway this are a few questions I found on Zoella's blog that she answered as a TAG.

What is your current fashion obsession? Chelsea boots - they're so comfortable and look great so win-win

What is your current make up obsession? I've recently discovered the art of highlighting my cheekbones and under the eyebrow bone, so I'm definitely obsessed with that

What are you wearing today? A spotted white and black shirt, leggings and frilly socks!

What is your hair like today? I've not long had it cut actually so to me it feels VERY short, but other than that it's just straight, nothing special

Do you nap a lot? Yes - one minute I'll be watching something on the tele and the next, I'll wake up a few hours later having missed what I was watching

Why is today special? It's Saturday which means it's the WEEKEND!

What would you like to learn to do? I've always wanted to learn sign language

What's for dinner today? Take away.. Naughty..

What are you listening to right now? The boy's screamo music

What is your favourite weather? When I'm out I like it to be hot and sunny but when I'm inside I like it to be cold, maybe even raining/snowing because I love being all snuggled up with a hot chocolate

What's the last thing you bought? Does lunch at sixth form count?

What are your essentials when travelling? Music 100%

What's your style? I have no style, it's literally whatever I throw on in the morning

What is your most challenging goal right now? Finishing my University application and actually getting into Universty

If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you like it to be? Probably Australia if the house came with an anti-spider guarantee

Favourite vacation/holiday spot? Egypt was by far my favourite holiday

Name the things you cannot live without? My family, cheese strings and my phone

How was your childhood? Eventful to say the least

What would you like to have in your hands right now? An unlimited credit card that I wouldn't have to ever pay back

What would you like to get rid of? Spiders

What are you most excited for? My dinner tonight

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go? Probably the Maldives, I've always wanted to go there. It looks so pretty!

Which countries have you visited? America - Florida, Spain a few times, France a few times, Egypt and Ethiopia

As said, this is a little different but I hope you guys like it and feel like you know me slightly more than you did before, I enjoy doing things like these.

This is it from me for now, I'll speak to you again soon!
